2017 album from the country music singer/songwriter. Kody started playing music in the beginning of 2014 doing acoustic gigs and songwriter competitions all over the Dallas/Ft. Worth area opening for bands, and gaining a following each show for the remainder of the year. One of those bands being the Texas Country/Red Dirt band Dalton Domino and the Front Porch Family band. He became their tour manager at the beginning of 2015 and began touring, working and playing music across the state of Texas alongside them. Kody recorded his first full production EP later that year in Stephenville, Texas with producers Ben Hussey and Josh Serrato. The EP titled Higher Ground released January of 2016 with "Playing Cards" as a single. Shortly after the release he had formed a band and they continue to travel around Texas together to play his tunes. Kody's music is a mix of Texas country and bluegrass with some good for the soul grooves.
